🌿 About Us — Paws & Purpose

Paws & Purpose began in a home filled with muddy paws, wagging tails, and the kind of love only animals can give. It wasn’t built from a business plan — it grew from a life surrounded by pets who shaped who I am, healed parts of me, and taught me what purpose really feels like.

My journey started with Malone, my first dog. A gentle Staffy with a heart far bigger than his body. Losing him in December 2024 changed me forever, but it also lit the spark that became Paws & Purpose — a reminder that dogs leave pawprints on our lives long after they’re gone.

And then there’s Mascot, my cat who disappeared while I was in hospital having my third child. Writing about him hurts, but leaving him out feels wrong. He was part of my story, part of my family, and part of the reason I believe every animal deserves safety, love, and a place to call home.

Today, my life is full — beautifully, chaotically full — with five dogs who each bring their own magic:

  • Major, my wise Siberian Husky, turning 8
  • Tyton, my powerful Presa Canario, 7
  • Pongo, my spotty goofball Dalmatian, 4
  • Justice, Tyton’s daughter, strong and soft in equal measure, 3
  • Beau, my baby Cocker Spaniel, not even 1 yet

And then there’s Marley — my soul mate in cat form. He turns 11 in September, and I’ve had him since I was 18. I’m nearly 30 now, and he’s been with me through every chapter of my adult life. He’s the heartbeat behind this brand.

My close friend’s spaniels are part of our family too — Lucky, Rosie, Ivy, and Autumn — dogs I love like my own, dogs who fill our days with joy and muddy footprints.

My three children have grown up surrounded by animals, learning kindness, patience, and compassion from every wagging tail and gentle nudge. They’re the reason I wanted to build something bigger than a shop — something meaningful, something lasting, something that gives back.

Paws & Purpose is my way of creating a future for them, while helping the animals who need it most. I can’t save every dog, but I can make a difference where I can — through honest nutrition, community support, and our rescue initiative, Helping Paws, where we spotlight a dog each week and rally together to support them.

One day, when life is a little less busy, I want to foster. I want to volunteer at rescues. I want to be hands‑on in helping dogs who’ve been let down. For now, I’m building the foundation — a place where people come together, where stories are shared, where dogs are celebrated, and where kindness leads the way.

Photography is another part of my heart. I have endless patience for capturing animals — their expressions, their quirks, their souls. It’s a challenge I adore, and it’s woven into Paws & Purpose through our gallery and the stories we share in Wagging Tales. Every photo is a moment of truth, a reminder of why this brand exists.

Paws & Purpose isn’t just a business.
It’s my family.
It’s my memories.
It’s my future.
It’s my purpose.

And I’m so grateful you’re here, becoming part of our story.
